Critical Response Group and Capita Secure Solutions and Services announce strategic partnership

Critical Response Group, Inc (CRG) and Capita Secure Solutions and Services (Capita) today announce their strategic partnership to bring Capita's innovative 911eye emergency video streaming service to the United States. The service allows any 911 caller with a smart phone to instantly stream live video or photographs to a communications center, without the need for any application installed on the caller's device. The two companies will work closely together to deploy the 911eye solution to emergency service providers, security organizations and critical infrastructure entities across the United States.

Phil Coyne, President of CRG, says "When we first saw Capita's 911eye, we knew it was a critical bridge to an effective emergency response. Introducing this sophisticated, yet simple to use tool to the United States is a natural fit to CRG's core mission. We are proud to work with Capita and firmly believe that 911eye will better inform first responders, which will in turn save lives."

Paul Eggleton, Managing Director of Capita Secure Solutions and Services, says "The United States is a key, new territory for Capita. We are very proud and excited to be launching 911eye and we are confident that our partnership with CRG will deliver positive outcomes for first responders, their agencies and the citizens they serve".

About 911eye

Without the need to download any application to the user’s mobile device, this technology allows the public to "live stream" video and/or still photos to dispatchers and call-takers when they call 911 to report an emergency. In addition to providing live video, the system provides the call-taker with the caller’s GPS coordinates, something that is currently not available to dispatcher personnel. By providing immediate on-scene video footage, 911eye helps to ensure that the most appropriate resources are dispatched to the scene and that critical video footage of the incident is captured. Showcased at British APCO (BAPCO) 2017 as part of the Product Innovation Zone, it was voted as the technology that would have the greatest impact on public safety communications. Now successfully deployed in the United Kingdom, the product is coming to the United States.
